My lovely daughter recounted a seemingly insignificant moment from her childhood some fourteen years ago. She was 11 years old and it was the Hallows Eve, the night before Halloween, also known as Mischief night. As someone with three brothers, we used to have some good natured fun, soaping car windows and tossing a few eggs.
So we dressed in our best camo gear and ventured out to have a little fun at our neighbors house. Hiding in the bushes we waited until the coast was clear and proceeded to decorate the trees and bushes with toilet paper. She was so excited and thrilled that she shared the memory with me today. It was good clean fun and the next morning I has to remove the beer cans from my mailbox.
It's funny how these seemingly insignificant moments can really connect us and make those special memories. Remember as you're raising the Lovebirds to teach them, love them, and most of all have a little fun and make a little mischief.
With Love,
Coach K
