Everyday Miracles
One of my favorite sayings is that "infinite patience brings immediate rewards". A little patience goes a long way.
I was searching for that special hard to find item and after almost two years had given up. I would check Ebay, online sites, and Craigslist. After finding the exact item, I was soon disappointed to learn that it was already sold.
Just yesterday, I checked Craigslist and found my item. I quickly contacted the person, no picture was posted, so I had to go on the details and description provided. I decided to take a chance and go check it out that evening.
Walking up to the open garage, I saw a van in the driveway and two people talking in the garage, at once I thought it's sold, someone beat me to it! Thankfully, the person was picking up another item.
Upon seeing the item I almost jumped for joy, I knew it was exactly what I was looking for but even better. I didn't realize that the item had a feature that I really liked.
Better to give than to receive.
Driving home I was giddy with excitement. Not for finally finding the item, but in knowing how happy my wife would be. I couldn't wait to surprise her.
Gratitude.
When I first saw the item in the garage, I knew that found it and said a silent Thank you. God had delivered that item that I had long visualized and searched for. My prayer was answered.
Thank you, Thank you, Thank you.
With Love,
