Detox with the Power of Lemon Juice

 The Power of Lemons

We hear all the time about the cleaning power of lemons.  Clean your counters, floors, stove with the power of lemons. But do we know how effective lemons and lemon juice are detoxifying our body.  Lemon juice is excellent at cleaning the kidneys and liver which are the two main organs involved in cleaning up and eliminating the toxins from our bodies.

Every morning before you eat or drink anything drink a glass of lemon water. That could be simply a lemon squeezed into a glass of water or for greater effect take the entire lemon blend it and then add that to your glass of water.  Turns out the vitamins in the peel and pith are just as good for you perhaps even better than the juice.

This simply daily detox can work wonders for your health and if you're concerned about your teeth sip in thru a straw and then rinse with water.  For a super packed health jolt combine the lemon juice cleanse with a morning fast.

I became a Lemon fan when I had kidney stones 15 years ago with excruciating pain.  And after watching a YouTube video started drinking pure lemon juice follow by a glass of water.  The lemon juice dissolved the stone and ever since I have been drinking lemon water every morning.  Recently a friend explained that she was have kidney stones pains and tried the lemon water, she passed/dissolved her stone in two days and is good as new. God Bless.

Lymph Nodes

Lymph Nodes

The lymphatic system is used to remove toxins from our body.  Lymph nodes are located in our neck, armpits, and groin.  Where the liver and kidneys help cleanse our blood, the lymph nodes help remove waste from our cells.  They are an important part of our body's immune and detox system.

One of the things I recently learned is that we can help the lymph system remove toxin by simply jumping or bouncing.  That's why it's so important to incorporate some movement or exercise into our daily lives.  Being an ardent proponent of the jump rope, we find another benefit of the low impact exercise of jumping rope, and that is detoxifying our bodies.  Simple jumping jacks will also do.

Deep breathing is also beneficial for the lymph system, inhaling and holding our breath for a count of two, and then exhaling for a count of four helps eliminate toxins.  Deep breathing is also great for reducing stress and helping lower blood pressure.

A strong immune system is key to our overall health and keeping the lymph nodes healthy and clear is an easy way to keep you healthy and strong.
