Cabrini Lacrosse 2019 National Champions

Jake would have been a Senior this year on the Cabrini Lacrosse team.  Cabrini plays Division III lacrosse and overcame tremendous odds making it to the 2019 National Championship game. After winning it's first two games in the playoffs, the team faced perennial powerhouse Salisbury, who has won 12 National Championships, in the semifinals.  Cabrini won a thrilling game beating Salisbury 16-13 on Salisbury's home field.

Jake was a good friend of my son's, he loved lacrosse and left the good earth way too early.  Jake was a loving free spirit a friend to everyone and loved by all the Boys.  He was truly a Lax Bro!

The Cabrini team dedicated a plaque in memory of Jake this season, and then went on to play inspired lacrosse.

With Jake's guiding spirit, the team went on a late season run winning most of the remaining 20 games on the schedule and then sweeping through the playoffs and ultimately winning the National Championship game in of all places....

Philadelphia! Cabrini's and Jake's home city beating Amherst in the Championship game at Lincoln Financial field on Memorial Day weekend 16-12.

Jake and the Cabrini Cavaliers 2019 National Champions.

In memoriam of Jake.

With Love,

Coach K
