One excellent breathing exercises to help keep us connected and grounded is an ancient practice and one espoused by Dr. Andrew Weil.
Mindful Breathing:
- First, a cleansing breath. A soft exhale through the mouth.
- Next, we take a breath through our nose, hold it for as long as we comfortably can.
- Then exhale gently through our mouths with the tip our tongue raised softly to the roof our mouths behind the top front teeth.
- Repeat 4 times.
The breathing exercise can be done as often as you like.
