Freedom
Philadelphia the Cradle of Liberty 1776. Fast forward to 2021, we have to remember that 235 years ago is not that long ago. And that for all the issues we may be facing, we still live in the bold the beautiful United States of America. Where so many Patriots have sacrificed for the cause of Liberty and Freedom. Famous painter John Turnbull capturing the signing of the Declaration of Independence in 1776 in Philadelphia at Independence Hall, which still stands to this day.
Are we a perfect Union? Of course not, but who is. Jesus said, let those without sin cast the first stone. We are learning or being taught a different history that these sacrifices are not important. These people gave us the America we enjoy today. They risked their lives and livelihoods for Independence. For the very freedoms that we enjoy today.
We have this great country, this great Republic. We enjoy tremendous Abundance and Prosperity. And more importantly we have tremendous Opportunity. Our lives are what we make them. If it is to be, it is up to me. Others will try to convince you that America is less than ideal, that we have insurmountable issues, and that we are divided. Don't believe the hype!
Last time we checked the Talking Heads are all rich and got that way by stirring up the pot. Bad news sells, and the only way they get eyeballs is to air dirty laundry. Tune it out and turn it off. Negativity is not something you or I can afford. We have to much to do, things to achieve, things to accomplish!
The upstart Colonies where going to be smacked down and put in their place by King George and mighty England. The Puritans came to America to escape persecution and pursue religious freedom. England hired Hessian mercenaries to help them fight. We have people fighting for their farms and families. They sacrificed for All of Us not just a select few, and achieved a Victory that still echoes throughout the history today. They overcame the naysayers and the Loyalists and The Revolution succeeded. Belief, confidence, and Providence are powerful forces.
Look what America has done in 235 years. Our young warriors died on the beaches of Normandy and in the fields of Virginia, Maryland, and at Gettysburg in Pennsylvania to preserve America and to defend the country and the world from tyranny. We liberated Europe and helped rebuild Japan and Europe to make them the thriving countries and economies of today. Japan and Germany are some of the most successful countries in the world today thanks to our generosity.
We are the most charitable people and nation in history. We have been a force for Good and have been blessed by God the Almighty. Billions of people around the globe would trade places with us in a heartbeat just to become a citizen of the USA, so that they to can enjoy
Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness.
Let Freedom Ring!
With Love,
Coach K
